Results of 13 National, 18 Provincial constituencies still awaited

imageISLAMABAD: The unofficial results of a total of 31 constituencies are still awaited, according to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

According to data released by ECP, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has emerged as leading party with 124 National Assembly seats, followed by Pakistan Peoples Party which won 32 seats, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf has clinched 31 seats, Mutahidda Quomi Movement (MQM) 17, Jamat-e-Islami (JI) 3 and Awami National Party has emerged victorious on only one seat of National Assembly.

In Punjab the results of seven constituencies are still awaited out of a total of 297. PML-N has already won absolute majority with 201 seats. Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf remained second with 20 seats.

In Sindh the results of six constituencies have not been announced. PPP has emerged victorious victories by clinching 69 seats, followed by MQM with 18 seats.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf has emerged as a single largest party with 35 seats. Followed by 13 seats won by JUI-F. The Khyber PakhtunKhaw assembly has a total of 99 general seats.

In Balochistan, PML-N and Pakhtunkhaw Mili Awami Party (PMAP) have emerged as leading parties by winning nine seats each. Results of five constituencies are still awaited.
