Punjab notifies implementation on Single National Curriculum

The board in its 76th meeting approved the SNC under section 9(3)(a) of PCTB Act-2015.
“The competent authority, Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore, hereby notified the SNC for grades Pre I – V and Model Textbooks of Education Reforms," reads notification.

Pakistan decides to open educational institutions in phases from Jan 18

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced that in the first phase, classes nine to 12 would be allowed to resume from January 18.
In the second phase, the minister said, primary to class 8 will resume on January 25.

COVID-19: Smart lockdown imposed in four major cities of Punjab

As many as 22 areas of Lahore, nine areas in Rawalpindi, four localities in * Gujranwala and three areas of Gujrat were put under smart lockdown, according to the notification.

Coronavirus pandemic claimed 87 more lives, whereas, 3,179 new infections were reported during the last 24 hours across Pakistan.

Punjab cabinet approves implementation of Single National Curriculum

Usman Buzdar said that a new syllabus based on SNC will be introduced at the primary level from March.
He said SNC will eliminate the societal division in the private and public sector curricula and will have the same teaching targets for all children.

One of the parks will span across 13,700 acres at the Kalar Kahar Salt Range while two recreational parks will be built at Kheri Murat and Pabbi Rasool spreading across 8,749 acres and 38,874 acres respectively.
