CAA extends travel restrictions for visitors to Pakistan

The category list of countries from which visitors seek to travel to Pakistan will also remain in effect till March 14, the CAA said.
South Africa, UK, Portugal, Ireland, Netherland, Botswana, Zambia and Brazil were the new countries included in category C.

Punjab govt withdraws restrictions after decrease in COVID-19 cases

Notification issued by Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare read that restrictions imposed in the province under Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Ordinance 2020 have been withdrawn.
“The shrines will also open their doors in the province from March 15,” Secretary Health retired Capt. Muhammad Usman has said in a statement.

Sindh reports 13 deaths, 322 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

About 10,865 tests were conducted during the period, out of which 322 came positive.
So far 2,998,409 tests have been conducted against which 257,729 cases were diagnosed, of them 241,256 patients have recovered, including 273 overnight, added the chief minister.

UN welcomes Pakistan, India's 'positive step' on LoC ceasefire

"The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is encouraged by the joint statement issued by the militaries of India and Pakistan on their agreement to observing the ceasefire at the Line of Control in Kashmir and engaging through established mechanisms," a statement said.
The President of the UN General Assembly, Volkan Bozkir, also welcomed the agreement between Pakistan and India, saying that this accord has set an example for others and demonstrates the General Assembly's value.

PM thanks Sri Lankan leadership for allowing burial of COVID-19 victims

"I thank the Sri Lankan leadership & welcome the Sri Lankan govt's official notification allowing the burial option for those dying of Covid 19," the PM tweeted.
Sri Lanka lifted the controversial ban which it had imposed last year saying that the bodies of COVID-19 victims could only be cremated as the virus could spread by contaminating groundwater.
