The Governor Punjab said the government was using all its resources for public welfare and was working on initiatives that would provide long term solutions to the problems.
Addressing the delegates, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said he was privileged to host so many journalists under the ceiling of Governor's House.
He said in order to make Pakistan strong, prosperous and developed, the institutions must be completely free from political interference and the government was pursuing the same.
“We believe in religious tolerance and the Pakistani Christians have always played a vital role in the development and prosperity of the country”,Governor said.
“It is due to the untiring efforts of Quaid-e-Azam that we are living in an independent and free nation. Each one of us should follow the golden principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline in order to make Pakistan a great nation," he said.
He said political parties in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) were not on the same page, adding that every political party had its own personal agenda.
