The Special Assistant informed that the incumbent government is trying to pilot a ‘Nature Bond’ which can “link the retirement of sovereign debt with quantifiable nature performance.”
The SAPM urged the people to become an active part of the ongoing tree plantation drive under 'Clean and Green Pakistan' for success of this government’s initiative.
He said the present tree plantation drive had started under the Prime Minister Ten Billion Tree project as the season was favourable for tree plantation.
Later the Governor and CM KP also visited Padhri Game Reserve which was the international standards game reserve and was established in 2015 under the Punjab Wildlife Act.
"This is the real change ('tabdeeli') when big dacoits are taken to task and brought to justice," he said, adding that only those nations prospered that upheld the rule of law.
He said that this ground will become a better source for healthy sports activities and informed that nine more cricket grounds will be built in the area.
The chief minister pointed out that the region lacks sustainable solid waste management facilities, alternative energy facilities which have led to overall environmental contamination and posing public health risks.
