The PIA administrations has directed staff to distribute the health declaration form onboard the flight to all passengers arriving at the kingdom with immediate effect.
General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) updated its health disclaimer form for all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
The scientist confirmed that what Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pilot saw in the air earlier this week was not a flying saucer, but a cloud called lenticular cloud.
"The pilot observed a visual process in the air. The object visible to the pilot was a lenticular cloud. Commercial pilots often observed such clouds," he said.
The pilot saw the flying object near Rahim Yar Khan while operating a regular flight (Airbus A-320) to Lahore from Karachi, according to the spokesperson.
Aside from the pilot, many residents of Rahim Yar Khan also spotted the shiny object in the say and made videos of it.
The advisory has been issued for all Pakistan-registered carriers and has been recommended to all the UN agencies.
“Due to an ongoing investigation of the CAA [Civil Aviation Authority] Pakistan…due to dubious licenses caution is advised on the use of Pakistan-registered air operators," says UNSMS.
Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said PIA had failed to pay the lease of the aircraft that was held in Kuala Lumpur on time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
