YouTubeKARACHI: The Pakistan government has unblocked YouTube in Pakistan after a three-month ban on the video-sharing website, the media reported on Monday.

It may be mentioned that the video-sharing website was blocked on September 17 following orders of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf over the anti-Islam film "Innocence of Muslims".

The directives were issued after YouTube refused to remove the objectionable film from their website. The video-sharing website rejected the request by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authotiry (PTA) saying that they have no such agreement with the Pakistan government.
