The Palestinian health ministry "thanked" Russia for the vaccines, saying in a statement it would enable the inoculation of "5,000 Palestinian citizens".
The vaccine doses had been distributed according to the number of frontline Healthcare workers registered with the Vaccine Management System till Sunday.

Overall, vaccine confidence is higher than in November, when the same survey - conducted in 15 countries and covering 13,500 people each time - found that only 40% would be willing to get vaccinated.
MS said that vaccines would be given to people aging from 18 to 65 years however pregnant women and those breastfeeding their infants would be avoided.
