Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Bajwa and the Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed, attended a session on the Afghanistan peace process in Bahrain.
Ministry says it has evidence which suggests that the former service man remained in contact with Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
The former ISI Chief has moved that high court to seek the removal of his name for the ECL stating that he wants to go abroad.
The investigators suspect that several anti-national forces including Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) may have sneaked in their men into the army.
"It has been decided to remove the concerned officers from their current assignments for further departmental proceedings and disposal at [the Army's] General Headquarters (GHQ)," reads the statement.
