LONDON: Britain's Victoria Pendleton will defend her Olympic sprint title against Australian Anna Meares in a repeat of the 2008 Games final later Tuesday.
Pendleton, the Olympic keirin champion in London, easily disposed of Germany's Kristina Vogel 2-0 while Meares ousted Guo Shuang of China 2-0 in their semi-final heats.
Vogel and Guo will race for the bronze.
If Pendleton wins the final, she will become Britain's most successful women's Olympic champion.
