KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P)' lawmakers in Sindh Assembly Saturday ended a sit-in in front of assembly building with the announcement of launching the protest at a large scale against what it said the discrimination against urban parts of province.

The three days long sit in was staged against government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Sindh, which MQM-P accused of being "corrupt and biased" that deprived urban Sindh in budget.

During the sit in, lawmakers of party displayed banners and placards and shouted slogans against provincial government for non-provision of water and other civic facilities to the residents of Karachi, which contributes 90 percent in Sindh exchequer.
