imagePESHAWAR: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday visited the residence of former senior minister of Awami National Party, late Bashir Bilour to condole the death of his son Usman Bilour.

The Prime Minister offered fateha for the departed soul of Usman Bilour who died of heart attack on Tuesday in Islamabad. His father, Bashir Bilour, was killed in a suicide attack in 2012.

Talking to media, the Prime Minister paid rich tributes to the Bilour family for their sacrifices for democracy.

He said the efforts of Bilours, to bring peace in the Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, would be remembered forever. With peace, he added, the country would usher in an era of development and prosperity.

The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to bless Pakistan with peace.

Earlier, the Prime Minister on his arrival at the Peshawar Airport was received by Governor KPK Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed, Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Political Secretary Asif Kirmani.
