imageISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Tuesday referred five private member's bills to relevant standing committees of the House for further perusal, deliberations and fine tunings.

The speaker referred The Privatisation Commission (Second Amendment) Bill 2015. The bill was moved by Syed Naveed Qamar, Dr Nafisa Shah and Dr Azra Fazal Pechcho. State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmed moved the amendment to refer the Bill to Standing Committee for fine tuning.

The House also accorded approval to refer The Anti Honour Killings Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill , 2015 to the standing committee. The bill was moved by Dr Nafisa Shah, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho and Syed Naveed Qamar.

Another Bill,The Anti-Rape Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2015 was also referred to the relevant Standing Committee of the House for further deliberations. The Bill was moved by Dr Nafisa Shah, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuhi and Syed Naveed Qamar.

Yet another Bill, seeking amendments in the Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly 2007 had been referred to the Standing Committee for further action and perusal. The Amendment was moved by Sheikh Salahuddin, Abdul Rashid Godil, Syed Asif Hasnain, Sajid Ahmed, SA Iqbal Qadri, Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, Muhammad Rehan Hashmi, Muhammad Salman Khan Baloch, Sanjay Perwani, Syed Waseem Hussain, Dr Fouzia Hameed, Ms Nikhat Shakeel Khan, Sufyan Yousaf, Abdul Waseem, Ms Saman Sultana Jaffery and Ms Kishwer Zehra.

The Lower House also referred the amendments in the Rules of Procedures and and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007. The amendments were moved by Muhammad Muzammil Qureshi.
