imageLAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday condoled with the family members of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem of Kasur, who was killed during violence in Yuhanabad.

He went to his house and expressed his sympathies with the parents and the family of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem and also offered Fateha. He assured that justice will be provided at every cost.

Talking to parents of Hafiz Muhammad Naeem, the chief minister said elements which burnt to death human beings in Yuhanabad deserved no leniency and this incident of cruelty and barbarity was highly condemnable.

He said the Punjab government fully shared the grief of the bereaved family. He said that the case of burning of Hafiz Muhammad Naeeem would be sent to an anti-terrorist court and the Punjab government will itself pursue the case. He said that 30 persons nominated in the case had been arrested and the accused will be dealt with an iron hand.

Shahbaz Sharif said he will personally ensure justice to the affected family and the culprits will be awarded maximum punishment.

He also gave a cheque for Rs 500,000 as financial assistance to the heirs of the deceased.
