imageSIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence, and Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Saturday voiced for equal educational opportunities for all.

He expressed these views while addressing the laptop distribution ceremony being held at Govt Allama Iqbal Girls College.

"The Constitution provides a guarantee to all people to get education and they have the right to get equal education," he said.

He said to develop a society, same opportunities should be provided to all for getting quality education.

"The nations which cannot get knowledge are wiped out from the map of world and the nations which get knowledge remained alive," he said.

The minister said the government was struggling for providing quality education as higher education was one of the agenda items.

He said all institution would flourish if quality education was being provided to the masses.

He said the distribution of laptops was basically acknowledgement of the Punjab government to brilliant students.

"Imparting knowledge is a top priority of the government," the minister added.

He informed that laptop had been distributed among 3,722 students, including 2,458 female students and 1,264 boys students, who achieved appreciation from the government.

Later, he distributed laptops among the brilliant students.

MPAs Muhammad Manshullah Butt, Chaudhary Akraam, Tariq Subhani, Arshad Warriach, MNA Shiza Khawaja, DCO Nadeem Sarwar and others were also present.
