imagePESHAWAR: Adviser to Prime Minister and Senior Vice President of PML-N, Engineer Amir Muqam has criticized the PTI government for its undue interference in the constituencies of the Local Government elections, political victimization of the opponents and nepotism, adding it may trigger unrest in Dir district.

Talking to local reporters after offering fateha for the departed soul of sister of PML-N leader, he said that PTI's claim of introducing merits and justice in the system of governance proved wrong and now they stand exposed to the people for what they did in their six month government in the province.

He said the PTI government may face law and order situation in Dir district if it did not stop taking unilateral decision and the responsibility for it would rest with the PTI leaders. Government employees are not servant of a political party and answerable to the people and they should not be party to the vindictive steps of the government.

He also directed representatives of the federal government departments to ensure transparency in their working and avoid creating problem for the people visiting them for official work. He warned of strict action against the corrupt officials.

He said that gas project started in 2007 for Dir district would be extended to Upper Dir district as well. He said construction work on Rs2 billion 220 KV Grid Station was underway in the district which would help solve the problem of low voltage and load-shedding. Chakdarra Bridge would be opened for traffic in the current week, he told.
