Pakistani singer and TV artist Nadeem Jafri was attacked by unknown armed robbers on Thursday.
According to local media reports, the actor registered an FIR at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station. Where the singer disclosed that he was sitting outside his house with a friend at around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday morning when two armed persons on a motorbike came and robbed him of his phone and money.
“There were two gunmen who snatched cash and mobiles from all of us. When they started the bike to flee, my cousin Dr. Raza opened fire on the robbers. In response, they also returned fire and the shootout lasted for about 40 seconds. Thank God! No one was injured,” told Nadeem Jafri.
Recently on June 22, unknown armed motorcyclists sprayed bullets on famed qawwal Amjad Sabri in the Liaquatabad area of Karachi when the 45-year-old was on his way.
Sabri’s killing shook the entire civil society causing massive media -uproar.
