imageQUETTA: The lawmakers Thursday passed a resolution unanimously urging the federal government to provide jobs to unemployed engineers of Balochistan.

The assembly session started with Member Panel of Chairmen, Eng. Zamarak Piralizai in chair, here on Thursday. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl MPA, Hussan Bano Rakhshani had moved a resolution in the House during the session held last Friday which said that Balochistan Package was introduced in previous regime to provide jobs to unemployed graduates and 5,000 graduates and post-graduates of the province were given jobs under this package.

The resolution said that presently, a number of engineers are unemployed.

It recommended the provincial government to approach the federal government to introduce a package in Budget 2015-16 for provision of jobs to unemployed engineers in order to remove sense of deprivation among them.

In response to the resolution, Chief Minster, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Senior Minster for Communication and Works, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri said that they would take up the issue with the federal government.
