imageISLAMABAD: The Met office Tuesday forecast rain-thunderstorm at scattered places in various parts of the country including twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during next 24 hours.

According to details, rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds expected at upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar and Mardan divisions, upper Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Islamabad, Rawalpindi divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Sargodha, Gujranwala and Kohat divisions.

Meanwhile, a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to move East-Northeast wards during next 12 to 18 hours.

During next 48 hours, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather condition with rain is expected at isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during last 24 hours.

Kalat with -3?C and Astore 0C remained the coldest places in the country.
