KIEV: Ukraine's 2019 corn harvest may reach last year's record crop of around 36 million tonnes thanks to favourable weather in July, a senior weather forecaster said on Tuesday.
"Recent rains across most Ukrainian regions and a decrease in temperature give us a chance to reach the last year's (corn) crop level," said Tetyana Adamenko, the head of the agriculture department at Ukraine's state weather forecasting centre.
