Rice and Masoor prices were higher on the local grain market on Tuesday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada gained Rs 200 to Rs 9000-9200, Masoor Dall Canada low type was unchanged at Rs 10800 while the best quality was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 10900, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh low type gained Rs 375 to Rs 3300 and the good quality was up by Rs 450 to Rs 3400, other types sustained the overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh old low variety rose by Rs 100 to Rs 1700 and the fine type picked up Rs 125 to Rs 1750, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new managed to held the overnight levels at Rs 1725 and Rs 1750, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
