KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.331 billion and the number of lots traded at 18,804.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.163 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 3.512 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 3.040 billion, copper PKR 2.589 billion, silver PKR 1.003 billion, DJ PKR 875.191 million, platinum PKR 445.437 million, crude oil PKR 433.322 million, natural gas PKR 192.132 million and SP500 PKR 77.120 million.
In Agricultural Commo-dities, 4 lots of cotton amount to PKR 2.958 million were traded.
