During the three-day anti-polio national drive, commencing from June, polio vaccine drops would be administered to 1.5 million children up to five years' of age here.
It was decided at a meeting of the District Anti-Polio Committee, held in the office of District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) under the chairmanship of Senior Administrative Officer, Dr Tariq Sardar.
The Executive District Officer (EDO), Health, Captain Dr Mukhtar Ali (retd), informed the meeting that the Health Department had formed 2,710 teams to administer polio vaccine drops to the children.
