imageKARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan on Tuesday chaired a high level meeting regarding installation of surveillance cameras.

The meeting was held at the Governor House here. Deputy Director General of Pakistan Rangers Sindh Brig. Azhar, Commissioner Karachi Syed Asif Haider Shah and Administrator Karachi Laiq Ahmed also attended the meeting.

A detailed briefing was given to the Governor about the installation of surveillance cameras in the metropolis.

He said that the surveillance cameras contribute towards the improvement in the law and order situation.

Ebad directed that such cameras should immediately be installed in those areas of the city where there is no such arrangement as yet.

He also instructed that those cameras not functioning properly should also be repaired promptly.
