ISLAMABAD: The District Administration has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi city for the next 48 hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, assembly of four or more persons, carrying weapons or any article which may be used as a weapon, use of laud speaker and pillion riding are prohibited under Section 144.
The decision has been taken due to intelligence reports of terrorist threats.
