imageISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday commended the role of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief, Siraj ul Haq for developing consensus on the issues of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said Pakistan Army was conducting successful operation to flush out terrorists from NWA.

He said that Army was also providing relief and helping the internally displaced persons (IDPs).

He said that call of long march by PTI was unnecessary when Army was engaged in the operation and helping internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The minister urged PTI to come forward for assisting IDPs in this situation.

To a question he said the government was ready for recounting in the four constitutes of PTI and PML-N.

He said that PTI was levelling allegation against the general election without any solid evidence.

Saad Rafique urged PTI to bring suggestions at the forum of Parliament for making legislation to reforming the electoral system.

He, however said that PML-N government had formed a committee to bring improvement in the electoral system of the country.
