LAHORE: The local met department has forecast generally cloudy sky with possibilities of light rain and thunderstorm in some parts of the province, including the provincial capital during next 48 hours.
According to daily weather report, rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places in upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions) while at isolated places in Multan, Sahiwal, DG Khan and Bahawalpur divisions in next 24 hours.
The Met office also forecast that heavy falls are also expected at a few places in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions on Thursday or Friday.
Hot and humid weather continued in the provincial capital and adjacent areas as the maximum temperature in the city was recorded 36 degree Celsius with more than 50 percent humidity level making life uncomfortable on Wednesday.
