imageISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has disbursed 19.7 million rupees among two thousand three hundred and fifty-one IDP families from North Waziristan during the last twenty four hours.

According to Radio Pakistan quoting sources of Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the amount was given to the IDPs in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Swat, Abbottabad and Mansehra.

Disbursement of financial assistance to IDPs through mobile SIMs by various agencies continues in Bannu.

PDMA has provided financial assistance to 15,663 IDP families through mobile SIMs, while FDMA distributed financial assistance among 13,675 families through SIMs.

Army has distributed dry ration among over twenty-five thousands IDPs families.

Vaccination has also been carried out to the livestock of IDPs. Meanwhile, FATA Disaster Management Authority is continuing verification of registered internally displaced people through NADRA.

Thirty-seven thousand rupees will be paid to every families in next four to five days.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established fifteen mobile veterinary clinics for treatment of IDPs' cattle.

Eight mobile veterinary clinics have been set up in Bannu, two each in Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Karak and one in Tank.

Provincial Livestock Department has so far vaccinated more than seventy-six thousand eight hundred cattles, whereas more than one hundred forty thousand animals were sprayed with germicide, source added.
