Sindh Government received only ten percent of funds for the federally-funded projects in Sindh, which it has been executing in the province against their allocations in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) up to mid of January 2020. The provincial government received Rs545.206 million for the thirteen projects, it has been executing with the funding from federal government against Rs5.389 billion allocations in PSDP 2019-20, according to the figures available with Business Recorder.

The amount received by Sindh Government is also short of funds authorized by Planning Commission of Pakistan, which came to Rs1.952 billion up to the period under review.

Sindh Government received Rs53.956 million for "Ten Billion Trees Tsunami Programme - Phase-I Upscaling of Green Pakistan Programme (Revised), a project of Climate Change Division against Rs500 million allocations in PSDP of this fiscal.

Sindh Government received Rs228.690 million against Rs1.776 billion allocations for the development schemes of Finance Division in the province.

These projects are Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme (K-IV) (Karachi, Lyari Expressway Resettlement Project, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Mother and Child Health care Centre, Nawabshah City (300 Bedded Hospital) District Nawabshah, Establishment of Five Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for Industrial Areas of Karachi including laying of interceptor Sewers.

The provincial government received only Rs262.560 million against the total allocations of Rs3.112 billion for the developments schemes of Water Resources Division.

These schemes are construction of Small Storage Dams, Delay Action Dams, Retention Weirs & ISSO Barriers in Sindh, Extension of Right Bank Outfall Drain from Sehwan to Sea, (RBOD-II), Jamshoro & Thatta District of Sindh, Makhi Farash Link Canal Project (Chotiari Phase-II) for Water Supply to Thar Coal Project, Lining of Distributaries & Minors in Sindh.

Also, Revamping/ Rehabilitation of Irrigation & Drainage System of Sindh, Construction of Feeding Canal to Manchar lake to Eradicate Contamination (Feasibility) and Sukkur Barrage Rehabilitation & Improvement Project.
