Expressing concern over soaring inflation in the country, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President Rana Sanaullah Saturday said that price hike has made it harder for the people to buy food for even two times a day.

Talking to the media here on Saturday, Rana claimed that baseless cases were being registered against the opposition leaders to keep them busy. He claimed that the incumbent government has no future and they will get rid of this government in the year 2020. He said the opposition is aware of public issues and is going to meet in which an action plan will be evolved and a strong protest will be held on public issues.

When asked about Nawaz Sharif's video in a restaurant in London, the PML-N leader said, "If the patient (Nawaz Sharif) can go to hospital for treatment, why cannot he go to a restaurant for taking food?"

The PML-N leader claimed that he was being subject to political victimization; a false and baseless case was lodged against him. He urged Minister for States and Frontier Regions and Narcotics Control Sheharyar Afridi to justify his stance in the court. He demanded that Sheharyar Afridi and the DG ANF should be summoned by the court in his case.

Reacting on Rana Sanaullah's statement, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Rana Sanaullah has lost mental balance after party leadership once again fled abroad.

Dr Firdous took to Twitter and said Rana Sanaullah remarked that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif can visit a restaurant if he can go to hospital from home. The PML-N leader means that Nawaz Sharif is healthy and can also go to jail straight from restaurant, she commented.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan advised Rana Sanaullah to hold midterm election among own party which is involved in internal strife. She said that the PML-N leader's political credibility has ended and he is yet to face the trial of the case that has been lodged against him.

She asked Rana Sanaullah to bash his own leadership which betrayed the party workers once again and broken their trust.
