Sindh Board of Revenue (SRB) has permitted the registered persons to e-deposit the Sindh sales tax for the tax period May 2019, on or before 18th June 2019. According to Circular 2/2019, the SRB under the provisions of section 81 of the Sindh Sales Tax on Services Act, 2011, has accorded this permission. Under it, the registered persons including the withholding agents covered by the provisions of the Sindh Sales Tax Special Procedure (Withholding) Rules, 2011 may e-deposit the amounts of Sindh sales tax for the tax period May 2019, on or before 18th June 2019. And they may e-file their tax returns for the tax period May, 2019 on or before 21st June, 2019 in the prescribed manner.
