The opposition members staged a protest after Prime Minister Imran Khan left the National Assembly session without answering their queries and addressing the House. The prime minister after a long time attended the National Assembly session; however, he left the House after the Question Hour session.
The opposition started shouting when Imran Khan was leaving the House. The opposition members stood up and started shouting that the prime minister should reply their questions. However, after attending the session for a while, the prime minister left the House with chief whip of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar.
PTI leaders Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri and Minister for Defence Pervaiz Khattak attempted to cool down the opposition. Iman Khan who arrived at the National Assembly after a long time, was supposed to answer lawmakers' questions as per his first question-answer session. Earlier, during the session, Federal Minister for Planning Khusro Bakhtyar criticised the opposition when the lawmakers asked him about construction of dams. This resulted in a ruckus; however, the National Assembly speaker barred the minister from speaking to cool down things.
