PPP will defend 18th Amendment: Khurshid Shah

LARKANA: PPP will defend 18th Amendment at all costs because we have always protected constitution of the country.

This was stated by former Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah while talking to newsmen after attending a marriage in Madeji, near here on Sunday.

He said: “If all politicians are involved in corruption, then it is the internal issue of the country.” He said that Imran Khan used to say that if he got loans from abroad, he will commit suicide. Elected prime minister of the country is saying that there is corruption in the country so he himself is defaming the country whereas this issue could be resolved while sitting in the assembly.”

He said Imran Khan was the person who supported dictator Musharraf by voting in his favour. Shah claimed that it was for the first time in the history of Pakistan that PTI government had obtained huge loans on big conditions, adding they had borrowed over seven billion dollars in a very short period.
