KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.899 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,861. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.824 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.127 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.074 billion), DJ (PKR 1.471 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.117 billion), Silver (PKR 1.052 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 508.081 million), SP 500 (PKR 431.759 million), Japan Equity (PKR 135.637 million), Platinum (PKR 103.146 million), Brent (PKR 33.862 million) and Copper (PKR 18.249 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.446 was traded.
