KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.739 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,467. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.644 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 2.445 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.671 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.251 billion), DJ (PKR 655.241 million), Silver (PKR 459.074 million), Copper (PKR 423.957 million), SP 500 (PKR 410.972 million), Natural Gas (PKR 403.468 million), Platinum (PKR 288.670 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 85.344 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 22 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 20.637 million was traded.
