LAHORE: The government has started work on projects worth billions of rupees for providing relief to the Lahorites. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of Gulab Devi Underpass and Lahore Bridge expansion projects today.
The Chief Minister will be briefed by the DG LDA about the projects. Usman Buzdar has said that Lahore is the heart of Pakistan. Work has started on projects worth billions of rupees for the development of Lahore city and the projects worth billions of rupees have been started for its development.
The self-exhibitory projects of the former rulers became a burden on the national exchequer and the needs and the preferences of the people were ignored in the previous regimes adding that projects of former rulers were proved white elephants.
