I am pleased to learn that the Pakistan Readymade Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association is organising the 6th Export Excellence Awards 2004 for the leading exporters of 2003.
Export Awards recognise the healthy competitive efforts of the enterpreneurs and are not only a significant source of motivation to do even better, but also an endorsement of organisational capabilities for customers.
While we congratulate those exporters receiving awards this year the achievements of the past should not make us complacent.
We must prepare ourselves for the tremendous challenges, specially in the garment sector, that lie ahead after December 2004, and work consistently and diligently towards maximising productivity and consequently exports.
I am confident that our exporters will prove up to the challenge, and do their utmost to increase their own business and therefore Pakistan's exports.
I congratulate Mr Tahir Aziz Chairman, PRGMEA, Mr Razzak H. Paracha, Zonal Chairman PRGMEA and his team for organising this ceremony. I also congratulate the award winners for their best performance during the year 2003.
