LAHORE: CCPO Lahore Capt (r) Muhammad Amin Vains directed all SPs to initiate special security plan for protection of worship places of minorities in their respective areas.
Addressing a joint meeting of operations and investigations at Police Lines Qilla Gujjar Singh here on Wednesday, he said that the officers should also constitute committees which would monitor the security arrangements.
He said that there was no room in police department for those SHOs who failed in arresting proclaimed offenders and crime control.
He directed the officials to further improve patrolling system to control street crime and arresting culprits involved in street crime. He said that service centres should be made in different areas of the city like Gulberg to facilitate the citizens.
