ISLAMABAD: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is assisting in providing identification services in matters of countering terrorism and crime, said an official here on Wednesday.
Talking to APP, an official of NADRA said more than 500 million fingerprints and 116.5 million images have been collected by NADRA which help to trace the terrorists and their facilitator in the country.
Replying a question, he said 95.2 million National Identity Cards were issued and NADRA also helping to locate the illegal SIMs and cellular mobile companies blocked the unverified SIMs to counter the terrorism in the country.
