imageFilmmaker Karan Johar, who is foraying into acting with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’, is ‘nervous’ and ‘stressed out’ about how his negative character in the film will be received by the audience.

According to Indian media reports Karan Johar said, “I am really nervous about it because it’s my first foray into acting”. The filmmaker did a small role in Yash Raj Films ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.

“I am really stressed out about how it is going to be accepted when it is out”, he added.

While, Karan Johar plays a Parsi businessman named Kaizad Khambatta. KJo's look in the film has already revealed earlier which shows him as a villain in the movie. The sub plot of the movie also features a love triangle between the three characters. The romantic thriller is being presented by Fox Star Studios and has been produced by Phantom Films.

The movie ‘Bombay Velvet’ has been directed by Anurag Kashyap also starring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role and is set to release on May 15.
