imageJEDDAH: Prime Minister Mohammed Nawaz Sharif who arrived here in the early hours of Monday will perform Umrah and pray for the prosperity, solidarity and progress of Pakistan and its people.

The Prime Minister during his stay will offer special nawafil keeping in view the significance of the last ten days of the Holy month of Ramzan and also offer his respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (Peace be Upon Him).

The Prime Minister will also be meeting the Saudi leaders and discuss the evolving situation in Middle East, and ways to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The Prime Minister who during his private visit will be paying from his own pocket all expenses for the Umrah travelled on a commercial flight to Saudi Arabia.

On arrival, he was received at the Royal terminal by Governor Jeddah Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdul Aziz Al saud.

Charge'd Affairs Khayyam Akbar, Consul General Aftab A Khokher and senior officers of Saudi Royal Protocol and Pakistan Consulate Jeddah were present at airport.
