HYDERABAD: Unknown assailants shot dead on Saturday 2 police constables who were deputed at a police post in Khanote, Jamshoro, on night duty.
According to SHO Khanote police station Ghulam Qadir Shoro, the slain policemen were Abdul Majeed Pitafi and Sahib Khan Macchi.
The still unidentified attackers also took away rifles and mobiles phones of the constables, the SHO told the APP.
The bodies have still not been shifted to the Liaquat University Hospital in Jamshoro as the incident happened some 30 to 35 kilometres away from Jamshoro town.
The SSP Jamshoro Farrukh Bashir also reached the spot in the afternoon.
