ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira on Tuesday visited residence of Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour and expressed condolence over the death of Bashir Ahmed Bilour.
Sympathizing with the bereaved family, the minister said Bashir Ahmed Bilour Shaheed would be remembered forever as he had strived for strengthening of democracy in the country.
He said Bashir Ahmed Bilour always stood in the forefront in war against terrorism, challenging the nefarious designs of the militants.
Kaira said Bashir Bilour was a seasoned politician and gulf created by his death could not be bridged.
The minister reiterated that people of the country were united in war against terrorism.
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Farzana Raja was also present on the occasion.
