Sindh Minister for Information, Archives and Labour Saeed Ghani on Monday visited the house in Mehmoodabad which was affected by gas leakage explosion. Speaking on the occasion, the provincial Information Minister said that directives had been issued to Commissioner Karachi to prepare comprehensive investigation into the incident.
He said that the incident seemed to be the result of the negligence of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). Provincial Minister for Information said that the residents of the area had submitted a complain of gas leakage in the office of Sui Southern Gas Company, but regrettably SSGC did not respond. Saeed Ghani said that Sindh government was standing with the affected people in these hours of trouble.
