Kissan Board Pakistan (KBP) Central President Chaudhry Nisar Ahmad reacting to a fresh increase in the electricity tariff has termed it as an injustice to the consumers.
Nisar was talking to media persons here on Wednesday after attending the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the Board, said that the government had robbed people of their hard-earned money by increasing the prices of gas, fertilizer, sugar, oil and now by increasing electricity tariff. He claimed that the Government had put an additional burden of Rs 33 billion on the masses by increasing the electricity tariff by Rs 2.37.
