Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anti Corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab while reacting on the joint press conference of Jehangir Tareen and Federal Agriculture Minister said that how a disqualified person used the government machinery and resources to hold a press conference. Adding that a person convicted from the Court of law addressed and give suggestions to the people of Sindh.
Advisor Information said it is a question that there is no any person available for the press conference. Murtaza Wahab said that the federal government has destroyed the agriculture of the country by raising the prices of fertilizers by Rs 200 per sack which will directly affect the life of common people and increase the miseries of the masses.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that it is better for Jehangir Tareen who is disqualified from the Supreme Court to give advice to the Federal Government to provide better essential facilities to the people of Pakistan for their prosperity. Advisor Information said that the Textile owners have gone on strike against the anti-business budget 2019-20 policies of the Federal Government.
He said that it is time that the Federal Government should take wise decisions for the welfare of the masses but despite providing relief to the poor people the Government is continuously increasing problems for the masses. Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the collection of tax revenue is decreasing day by day and the Federal Government is far away from its target of tax collection. It is policy failure and bad governance of the Federal Government that the Federal Board of Revenue could not collect Rs 4.5 billion revenue. Adding that the Federal Government should immediately pay the dues of the Sindh Government.
Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anti Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that those who previously choked/blocked the water lines in the city of Karachi are announcing to block the road for protest against acute shortage of water. It is surprising that the MQM Pakistan is the part of the Federal Government and not asking for the share of water of Sindh Province.
This shows the double standard and lack of sincerity with the masses of Sindh province especially Karachi. Those who were terming Imran Khan an ineligible/wrong/incompetent person are his Government's companions and enjoying all the pricks & privileges. Wahab said that the Government of Sindh is continuously requesting to the Federal Government to provide water and we are also struggling to resolve the water problems of Karachi on priority basis.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab further said that PTI claims itself that they are abiding by the Constitution of Pakistan while on the other hand breaking the constitution by doing horse trading and creating conspiracies against the elected Pakistan Peoples Party Government in the province of Sindh, he concluded.-PR
