Unidentified armed men gunned down two policemen here on Thursday and fled the scene. Police said that the incident took place near Professors Colony Larkana where unknown gunmen sprayed bullets at two cops. Both policemen identified as Zulfiqar and Dad Mugheeri were killed on the spot in the firing and the attackers fled the scene after committing double murder.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem. Police said that the incident seems to be outcome of old enmity. However, a case was registered against unidentified assailants and investigation was underway.
