The 40th meeting of the Academic Council of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences was convened under the chair of Pro- Chancellor/ Minister Health Dr Jam Mehtab Dahar at LUMHS Jamshoro, on Tuesday. The meeting was called to discuss the day-to-day affairs/problems of the Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad/Jamshoro.
While addressing the faculty, Dr Jam Mehtab Dahar expressed that it is our aim to provide best possible health facilities to the patients attending the Liaquat University Hospital which caters for a huge number of patients coming from far flung areas of the province. He added that his presence in this meeting is mainly focused to improve the functioning of the Hospital. The Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Noshad A Shaikh said that the faculty of the University is making all the untiring efforts to serve the ailing humanity.
The matters pertaining to the Security of the Hospital, supply of Medicines/Oxygen, up gradation of Operation theatres and Labour rooms, repair of equipment and other administrative issues were discussed in the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Deans, In charges of all the Departments and the Medical Superintendent of Liaquat University Hospital.
