Grams prices were higher on the local grain market on Wednesday in the process of moderate trading, dealer said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 8900, grams Dall Australia followed same pattern and gained the same amount to Rs 10700, grams 50x50 rose by Rs 375 to Rs 9750, grams Dall 50x50 picked up the same amount to Rs 11000, yellow peas Russia shed Rs 100 to Rs 3500 and yellow peas Dall Russia fell sharply by Rs 700 to Rs 4000, dealers said.
On the seeds side, cakes low type was up by Rs 85 to Rs 1125 and best quality was higher by 100 to Rs 1150, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality was unchanged at Rs 1900 while the best variety gained Rs 25 to Rs 1950, they said. On the cereals side, Mooong Afghan registered higher at Rs 11625 owing to short supply position, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
