The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will release its monetary policy statement for the next two months on Saturday, September 12. A meeting of State Bank''s board of directors will be held on September 12, 2015 for a final decision on key policy rate in response to the recommendations of the Monetary Policy Advisory Committee (MPAC), which will meet before the SBP board''s meeting. In the previous monetary policy, announced in July 2015, the SBP had kept the interest rate unchanged at 6.5 percent.
